Network of City Data Analysts

On June 20, 2023, during the official inauguration of the City Data Forum, the City Data Analysts (ADM) portal was officially launched. This new initiative, integrated by the Institute for the Development of Cities and Regions (IRMiR), aims to support data analysts working in city governments in the acquisition and utilization of urban data. The ADM network, whose mission is to build cooperation and integrate local government employees, is already attracting significant interest, with 200 members currently enrolled.

ADM offers several benefits for its members, including:

  2. Training and Seminars: Members have access to training and seminars on the use of urban data.

  3. Joint Initiatives: ADM encourages the initiation of joint analytical projects and provides support for their implementation.

  4. Access to Best Practices: Members can draw from a repository of proven solutions and best practices.

  5. Communication Platform: The network provides a special platform for communication and information exchange among members.

  6. Direct Contact with Local Government Employees: Members can establish direct contact with local government employees dealing with similar issues in other cities.

  7. Access to Ready-Made Solutions: The opportunity to use analyses and solutions previously conducted in other local governments.

  8. Industry Materials: Members have access to a growing database of industry materials.

  9. Integrative Training Trips: The possibility to participate in integrative and training trips.

  10. Certificates and Promotion: Participants receive certificates of participation in the network and certificates of course completion. Additionally, they have the opportunity to promote solutions and analyses conducted in their own city offices.

To join ADM, it is required to be an employee of a city office or municipal company. The official inauguration of the network took place during the City Data Forum on June 13, 2023, in Warsaw. Importantly, participation in the ADM network is entirely free, making it an accessible and attractive support platform for city data analysts in Poland.
